Well, we love our condo very much…but it has always been our plan to build something a bit smaller for the two of us.
It a “B” unit. LR, MBR, MBA, Hall Bath, Kitchen, DR, Den and Laundry on the main floor. Upstairs is the Family Room or Loft, another Bedroom with Walk-in closet and bath. There is a small deck on the upper floor and a Trax full deck on the main floor with access from the LR and the MBR.
There are many details of this condo that really cannot be listed but I will try. The carpet is a high-end Royalty Frieze. We selected an exotic hardwood for the kitchen and DR, that blends beautifully with the cherry cabinets. All the cabinets are cherry throughout and have specially selected hardware from Berensen. The kitchen cabinets extend to the ceiling so there is ample storage. The cabinet with glass is perfect for displaying your glassware or special accessories. Every countertop is either granite or marble. No formica anywhere. All the overhead lighting fixtures in the DR, Baths, and over the kitchen bar were selected from AF Lighting or Forte Lighting.
We sell window coverings so you can be sure that all the window covering are high-end. In the Living Room there are Silhouette blinds. The Master BR has a gorgeous Luminette drapery. It tilts or draws just like drapery by remote control. The fabric is room-darkening, but opens up to let in light. The Den has a Vignette Roman shade. Upstairs, since privacy was not an issue, we put in woven wood roller shades, highly textured. They let in lots of light but give a sense of warmth and sun protection.
The paint colors and carpet colors are a soft warm beige, taupe and neutral colors with a couple of accent walls with a slight green undertone to create a warm homey feeling but still be neutral enough for any palette.
The kitchen appliances….They are stainless steel. The refrigerator is a double door french model with the freezer at the bottom. The oven is gas range , with a double oven. The lower drawer is a small oven perfect for baking pies, cookies, or side dishes, while using the upper oven for the main dishes.
We selected this unit because it is at the end of the road, and there is no traffic. It faces away from the golf course because we preferred the quiet and privacy this offers. And quiet it is.
The garage is painted inside and there is a steel attic ladder installed in the ceiling. There is storage space in the attic and also under the deck, there is a locked door to even more storage space. ( We haven’t even used this space)
Monthly fees for HOA is only $135.00. What a bargain. This is for insurance, landscape maintenance, exterior painting, roof, paving, etc. The yearly fee for Lakeland Village was under $150.00. There is a total of 1,990 sq feet. 2 BR – 1 Den- 2.5 bath. $384,942.00

Items we may consider selling…the antique LR furniture…the custom entertainment center upstairs and the elliptical.
The entertainment center is solid oak, mission style with glass, which we had custom made from Woodworks Furniture in Canada.
