Yes, this time comes every year. The countdown to Thanksgiving, Christmas and then New Year’s Eve.

This is a busy time for companies like ours. We are already booked up for hard-flooring jobs through November. We usually always have time to slip in a carpet job but it usually is pretty disruptive at this time of year. Especially if there is a Christmas tree. (That is why we are so busy in January. Many say, ” We will do it after the holidays.”

There is still plenty of time for new window coverings. Hunter Douglas is having a rebate sale on Duette Honeycomb shades, Skyline Gliding Panels, Pirouette, Silhouette and Vignette. Minimums do apply.

If you need blinds that insulate from the cold, consider honeycomb. If you have a view Silhouette gently shades your window while allowing you to see through the fabric.  Vignette offers a Roman Shade look with warm and stylish fabrics. How does one describe a Pirouette? A most unusual shade that squeezes open and closed.

Three great carpet selections on Sale

We have three new carpets on sale…..Two are dual tone nylon plushes and have the PetProtect StainMaster features. 2.19 sf/2.97 ft. The other is a two-tone low cut pile that has a loop look.An exceptional look at 3.10 

Featured Carpet Selection

This is a great time of year to start thinking about new carpet. You take a fresh look at your home when the sunlight start streaming in and all those spots and worn areas begin to show.

We have a great selection and a large range of pricing. It has been the trend of consumers for the last five years to select the least expensive product to save money. The best value though is to select the best carpet your budget will allow. There are many sellers out there trying to sell you free rooms of carpet but this just does not happen. The cost is just worked in somewhere else. It added to the pad or install or inflated fees. Get bids.

This month we are featuring this wonderful carpet in two weights. There are solids and two-color cable twists…Tuscany and New Cane are simply gorgeous. This is a PET Polyester continuous filament fiber.

The lighter weight carpet is $3.21 sf installed and the luxury weight is $4.19 sf. Remember that carpet is 12′ wide and there is always some waste. If you merely add up your square feet of coverage you will be short.

Other costs involved are carpet removal/disposal, removal and reinstall of wall base, and the moving of furniture.

If you have a nice piece of carpet left over we can bind it to make an area rug.

Value Carpet a Great Deal

We would like to present a value collection of berbers and a pin-dot carpet.

Each one is family friendly and stain proof. The samples are close in color but you need to see the sample in person for a closer look. All carpet is 12′ wide.

First we have Color PZL which is a zipperlock construction.

Price per  sq.ft. 1.86. This is carpet only. Pad and Install extra.*

If you needed a piece 12 x 14 then that would be

12 x 14 = 168 sq ft X  $1.86 = 312.48

Next we have TP III which is stain proof but not a zipper-lock, pictured below.   Price $1.28 sq ft.

Our third choice is very nice multi-colored low pile berber WB @$2.11 sq ft. This is a zipperlock carpet. Will not run.

Our last carpet is a pin-dot and it has a loop and cut pile. It is stain-proof and is the softest of the samples we have featured at this time.

NF  is $1.81 sq ft.

Custom Area Rugs

I have heard many times….

I am looking for an area rug that picks up the flower in my favorite picture in the bedroom. It has a blue and green combination that is hard to find.

Well we have border and pattern collections, that you can select from. First pick the pattern you like and then we start filling in the colors. We do it online here at the store.
